Cockpit for sewer inspection

From the manhole to the office. One cockpit for all inspection data.

PipeDesk brings together the videos, observations, site plans and asset data of your sewer and manhole inspections — in the vehicle, on the move and at the desk. Standard formats in, standard formats out, with nothing lost along the way.

  • Tablet, laptop and office PC
  • Usable without internet
  • Hosted in Germany
  • Strict tenant separation

The product

One workspace for everything the camera sees in the sewer.

PipeDesk is a cockpit for inspection data from sewer and pipe networks. It runs on the tablet in the vehicle, on the laptop at the site and on the screen in the office — without installation, on any current device.

Pipe sections, manholes, inspections and observations are kept where everyone involved can find them: with video, photos and their position in the network. What the camera records can be evaluated in the office without carrying storage media back and forth.

  • EN 13508-2 Import · Export

Lossless round trip: whatever PipeDesk does not evaluate itself is preserved and goes out unchanged on export.

Features

Everything an inspection needs — in one place.

From the first metre in the pipe to the finished export: PipeDesk supports every step.

  • Video cockpit with observations

Inspection video and observations are linked: one click on an observation jumps to that point in the footage, chainage and time stay connected.

  • Site plan in 2D, course in 3D

Pipe sections and manholes on the map, your own floor plans as layers, and the course of a pipe traceable in three dimensions.

  • Elevation profile

Invert and cover levels become the longitudinal section of a pipe section — gradient and depth of cover at a glance.

  • Manholes as objects of their own

Manhole inspections with their own structure instead of an appendix to the pipe section — with components and observations over the full depth.

  • Appliance in the vehicle

The cockpit runs directly on the purchased inspection system and works entirely without internet and without a cloud account: live camera image, recording on site and evaluation in the vehicle. The data stays on the device and can be backed up locally; synchronisation with the cloud is optional as soon as a network is available.

  • Remote View from the office

Follow an ongoing inspection without sitting in the vehicle — read-only, with the system's measured values, and only when the device has been released for it.

  • EU cloud, hosted in Germany

Application, database and files are stored on servers in Germany. No advertising or analytics services, no disclosure of inspection data. All data remains the customer's property, can be backed up locally and exported losslessly at any time in the standard formats DWA-M 150, ISYBAU XML and EN 13508-2.

  • Security as a product property

Strict tenant separation, an audit log of access and changes and a defined process for handling vulnerabilities. Developed for operators of critical infrastructure (KRITIS): the requirements of NIS2 and the Cyber Resilience Act shape development and operation — with a software bill of materials and a vulnerability scan for every release.

From the job to the evaluation

Recorded in the vehicle, available in the office right away.

  1. In the vehicle

The appliance on the inspection system shows the live image and records observations — offline, in the vehicle's Wi-Fi.

  2. Synchronisation

As soon as a connection is available, the device synchronises the projects with the cloud, encrypted. Who is editing at any time is clearly defined.

  3. In the office

Evaluation, report and export at the desk — and, if required, a view of the ongoing inspection via Remote View.

Who it is for

For everyone who inspects, operates and is responsible for networks.

  • Inspection contractors

Less rework between vehicle and office: data arrives structured, reports and standard exports are produced from the same data set. Daily work in the field needs neither internet nor a cloud account.

  • Network operators

Inspection results from different contractors in one consistent picture — with location, video and condition, traceable and logged in an audit-proof way.

  • Municipalities

Review your own inspections and commissioned work without specialist software at the workstation: no installation needed, the data stays in Germany.
